The Shine quilt is a beginner-friendly classic quilt design! It’s perfect for front porch swings, an outdoor movie night, or a summer picnic.
The “Shine” quilt draws inspiration from the classic sawtooth star block, with a bit of a modern twist. My new Bloom fabric line was the perfect compliment to make this quilt truly “shine”! The fabric embodies the essence of summertime with its vibrant colors, delicate florals, and playful patterns. Each fabric in this collection is about finding the joy of embracing life’s simple pleasures.
As you wrap yourself in the warmth of the “Shine” quilt, you’re not just embracing a cozy blanket—you’re enveloping yourself in a timeless story of craftsmanship, creativity, and the legacy of a hand-made quilt!
I used a variety of bright colors, but I think this quilt would be beautiful in patriotic colors, holiday fabrics, and just about any color scheme you can think of! It’s extremely beginner-friendly, and the perfect way to step into quilting!
