Overview

Utah’s statewide option is the Utah Fits All (UFA) scholarship. Approved funds are deposited into an Odyssey-managed account for eligible “scholarship expenses” (tuition, curriculum, tutoring, therapies, tech, etc.). UFA students are not public-school students during the scholarship year; however, UFA can pay an LEA provider for an individual class/activity if the provider participates in UFA.

Start with the official USBE page and Odyssey’s UFA handbook for the latest amounts, categories, and rules.

FAQs

Can funds cover extracurriculars?
Yes, within category caps in the UFA Handbook (e.g., extracurriculars/experiences). Check the latest limits and documentation requirements in Odyssey.
How are payments made?
Most purchases go through Odyssey’s marketplace or pre-approved vendors. Some items can be reimbursed if pre-approved and documented.
Can I dual-enroll?
UFA students cannot be enrolled as public-school students or participate in SOEP during the scholarship year. You may use UFA funds to pay an LEA provider for a specific class/activity that participates in UFA.
