Having a rich Spanish vocabulary is important if you want to speak Spanish like a native. The bigger your vocabulary, the better your understanding of the language will be.
As you learn more words, you’ll be able to start reading stories, watching TV, and most importantly talking to other Spanish speakers!
It can be overwhelming to get started since there are so many words out there that even native speakers like me don’t know about! But, in order to have the most basic conversation in Spanish, your vocabulary needs to be around 200 to 300 words.
